In celebration of Earth Day, Beta students read Miss Fox's Class Goes Green to Pre-K students.  Afterwards, those students were presented with mini-garden keepsakes made by Beta students.

PBIS Celebration

On Friday, for our Monthly PBIS the students of Woodley had the opportunity to have some free time and to enjoy some homemade snow cones.
  

USM Children's Book Festival

On Wednesday, April the 5th, the fourth grade students had the opportunity to go to the University of Southern Mississippi to meet Kate DiCamillo 

and have their books signed. Woodley's 4th graders did an amazing job and we are so proud of them.

Tuesday, May 16 @9:30 PreK-K

Attire: White tops, black pants and white dresses

 

Wednesday, May 17 @1:00 1st- 4th grade

Attire: School uniforms

 

Thursday, May 18 @1:00 5th grade ceremony

Attire: White tops, black pants and white dresses

No spaghetti straps, halter top or off the shoulder

Weather Delay

Due to expected severe weather, on Monday all HPSD schools will have a delayed start.
Buses will start their routes at 9:00 a.m. All staff will report at 9:00 a.m. (Cafeteria and transportation contact your supervisor.)
Delayed School Start Times are as follows:
Mary Bethune: 9:15 a.m.
NR Burger Middle School: 9:30 a.m.
Burney STEAM Academy: 9:40 a.m.
All Elementary Schools: 10:00 a.m.
Hattiesburg High: 10:30 a.m.

Families First

On Wednesday, the 29th Mrs Blanchard from Families First came to talk to the students at Woodley about hygiene and taking better care of their bodies through eating healthy, staying clean and exercise.
