Pink Out Day! - Woodley Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

Pink Out Day

Woodley Faculty, Staff, and Students wore pink on their annual "Pink Out Day" to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Students that chose to wear pink each donated $2 to the American Cancer Society.  The Junior Beta Club also hosted several other events that would help raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Woodley students were proud to raise and donate $700 to help FIND THE CURE! 

Junior Beta Club Gives Back to the American Cancer Society

 The Woodley Junior Beta club participated in a district wide fundraiser to donate to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Friday, September 21, 2012. The Beta Club held several events across the week to raise funds so that the Woodley students could participate in supporting Breast Cancer Awareness. On Friday night, at the Hattiesburg High School football game, the Beta Club teamed with all of the other schools across the district and presented one grand total from the Hattiesburg Public School District.  The Woodley Junior Beta Club contributed a total of $700.00 to the districts grand total donated to the American Cancer Society.
